Join us to contribute to our Data Warehouse solution based on Microsoft Technologies for one of the largest e-commerce destinations in the US. You'll be working in a mutli-location Agile team. The position is in Riga, Latvia.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop complex stored procedures, functions, triggers, views and queries in support of application development
• Develop integrations with 3rd party systems like Google Analytics, BigQuery, Funnel.IO, Workday, etc. using linked servers, API calls, files and other communication methods
• Participate in application development projects and be responsible for the database architecture and design
• Review and optimize existing stored procedures, functions, triggers and queries
• Convert existing embedded SQL code into stored procedures
• Develop custom scripts to automate various database management processes
• Develop PowerBI reports
• Define and review best practice standards for data integrity
• Develop various ETL jobs for our Data Warehouse

Skills & Requirements:

• At least 3 years of professional work experience
• Strong problem solving skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Strong written and verbal English communications skills (to communicate with partners in USA)
• A degree in Computer Science, IT or related field is considered a plus

Qualification:

• Strong experience in T-SQL, procedures, functions, triggers, views and queries
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2017/2019/2022
• Knowledge of PowerBI is considered a plus
• Strong experience in query/process optimization and database maintenance
• Experience with SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, & SSDT
• Working knowledge of MySQL databases
• Knowledge and experience of Data Warehouse concepts
• C# knowledge is considered a plus

Salary range: 3 500 - 5 500 EUR gross (before taxes)
